Off The Record is an multi-venue live music event and conference in the heart of Manchester's Northern Quarter taking place on the 15th & 16th November 2018.
Following suit from the past two sell-out years, trusted curators will nominate the artists performing. This year the likes of Everything Everything, Huw Stpehens (Radio 1), Rob Da Bank (Bestival), Ana Matronic (Scissor Sisters), Fickle Friends and The Orielles amongst many more are this year's curators.
Off The Record is all about innovative ideas, new music and emerging artists.
With the spotlight being on over 40+ budding artists, music lovers will have the chance to see blossoming bands and talented artists perform in eight legendary music venues all within 5-minute walk from each other.
The acts will all be NEW with a huge focus on the undiscovered.
Off The Record is collaboration between three of the UK's premier music festivals; Sound City, Kendal Calling, and bluedot festival.
Off The Record is supported by PRS Foundation’s The Open Fund for Organisations - "Having attended each year of the event, we know Off the Record’s curators have impeccable taste - with many of those playing in 2017 going on to receive our support through music creator funding schemes. And in offering expert insight, the conference enables emerging music creators to fast-track their careers with topics that are most relevant to artists, songwriters and future music leaders."
