When In Manchester Festival
Where & When –
Curated by Miriam Rahimov, Ellen Offredy, Nicole Burrows and Abigail Richardson When in Manchester Festival is a one-day metropolitan music festival which took place in the Northern Quarter on Saturday 14 April 2018.
Showcasing the talent of 28 up-and-coming UK artists - in association with BIMM, Skiddle and Haig Club - When In Manchester Festival will be held at four of the city's finest independent venues - Gullivers, The Castle, Jimmy’s and The Peer Hat. Having successfully sold out of all tickets in advance at the inaugural When in Manchester Festival two years ago, the event has since more than doubled its capacity by adding two new stages. Headlined by the sensational Nova Twins, plus London’s coolest trio Hey Charlie, new rising stars of Manchester music The Big Peach, and the inimitable Carl North & The Lonely Hearts, this year's festival is set to be another storming success.
When in Manchester Festival prides itself on promoting gender equality in the music industry, with some of the festival’s previous line-ups featuring 70% of artists with one or more female members, including: INHEAVEN, The Orielles, The Tuts, Lucie Barat, White Room and Natalie McCool.
